Texture and Photogrammetry Kit

Purpose

Used for high-resolution pictures of set pieces and materials.

Components

  • Peli 1500

  • Canon 5D Mk IV

  • Neck strap

  • Lenses - these are variable. Ideally prime lenses but zooms are also accepted - check with client for preferences

  • UVP Filters for each lens

  • Polarized filters (optional) check with client

  • Tripod with pan and tilt head

  • Remote control for camera

  • X-rite color chart passport

  • Tape measure

  • x 3 batteries LP-E6+ charger

  • x 2 CF cards 256 GB or SD cards

  • Rig the camera with any lens, one card and one battery

  • turn on camera

  • shoot

  • check that UVP filter is on the lens

On tripod

  • Rig the camera with any lens, one card and one battery

  • attach plate at the bottom of the camera and place it on top of the tripod head

  • shoot and check that everything is working fine

Format Cards

make sure cards are formatted before the kit goes onto another project.

Quick guide

  1. Insert card into card slot (SD or CF) on the right side of the camera

  2. press < MENU > button to display menu. Turn dial (top right of camera body) or use touch screen to go into settings (spanner)


  1. Scroll down to select < Format Card > use button SET to select and confirm

  2. Select the card you want to format by pressing < SET >

  3. Turn the dial to select [OK], then press < SET >.
