# Semote Cheatsheet

Wireless camera control for long distances (e.g. crane). The transmitter mounts on the camera; the receiver stays with the focus puller, DoP, or DIT — whoever the camera department wants using it.

## Packages

Match the package to the camera system **and** frequency. When pulling kit, everything in the package must be the same frequency (**433** or **868**) — all items are labelled.

## What the receiver buttons do

| Control | Function |
|---------|----------|
| Red button | Start / stop the camera |
| Top left (blue) | Set speed |
| Top right | Adjust shutter |
| Bottom left | Set EI   |
| Bottom right | Set white balance and CC |

## Testing

This can’t be fully tested without a camera.


1. Power on by placing an NPF battery in the back and holding the turn knob on the right-hand side for a couple of seconds. If it turns on, power is fine.
2. Test the cables, then scan — ready to go.
3. Confirm all kit in the package is the same frequency (433 or 868).

If they have a CAT7 drum, also send an Ethernet patch cable and EtherCON coupler. The transmitter attaches to the camera with Ethernet cables.
