# VFX Data Wrangler Package

## PURPOSE

The role of the VFX Data wrangler is to collect as much information as possible on a shot-by-shot basis. Such information includes:

* Still photos, also known as SET REF, or REF
* Camera data, to be logged onto the VFX Database in FileMaker Pro
* Footage of the action (Witness Cameras)
* Shooting stills of props, set builds, landscapes (Texture, photogrammetry, panorama/Roundshot)
* Shooting HDRI for lighting reference
* Chrome/grey balls & color chart

## COMPONENTS

Each package can vary based on show requirements – below is a standard kit:

For SET REF only:

* Ref camera: Canon 5D mk IV (or similar)
* Lens: can vary one or two zoom lenses such as 17-40mm, 24-105mm
* Camera accessories: memory card, battery, battery charger, card reader

**For FULL DATA WRANGLER KIT:**

Set ref kit +

* IPad with Filemaker Pro
* Disto laser measurer
* HDRI Kit
* Chrome/Grey ball + colour chart
* Laptop
