Mic Pack Cheat Sheet

G2 EW100

Turn on both the Sennheiser Bodypack Transmitter and Receiver. Make sure the batteries are charged.

Access the settings menu and go to the reset option, then select to reset both TX and RX.

Afterwards the frequency will be set to 839.100

Go to Bank option on the settings menu and set it to Bank 8, frequency will become 863.100 adjust the Channel setting by one so it becomes 863.500.

This is the pre-set frequency to be used for the mic packs.

The reset will leave Audio Frequency (AF Out) on the receiver to +12db and Sensitivity on the Transmitter to -10db. That should be fine but test the talkback with another kitroom technician and make any adjustments required.

G4 EW100

Pretty much the same process with these. Get a TX and RX, make sure they have charged batteries.

Go to the advanced settings on the menu, select then go to the 'Reset' option. Select this on both units to reset each.

The frequency will be reset to 863.100 mhz for both units.

In the menu settings, access the frequency preset options, it will be set to B.Ch. 1.1, just change it to 1.2 and the frequency will become 863.500mhz

Unlike the G2, more adjustments need to be made to sensitivity and AF out. Sensitivity will be set to -30 and AF out will be 0. Set sensitivity to -6db and AF Out to +12db.

Then test with another kit room technician.
